To assist individuals
in developing work skills and habits through the use of paid work, small
group instruction and simulated work with an aim towards preparing the
individual for employment opportunities.
Through our program
we are looking for each individual to acquire work skills and habits
needed to gain employment opportunities. With the end result of each
individual becoming as independent as possible in employment situations.
This program consists of a variety of
components which individuals may be involved in such as paid work, small
group instruction and simulated work. Individual’s strengths and needs
will be identified and the specific services the individual will be
involved in will be outlined in the Individual Program Plan. The I.P.P.
Team will prioritize needs and the specific service areas in which the
individual may be involved.
Staff to individual ratio, which includes
paid work, small group instruction and simulated work will be a maximum of
1:7.
